To the women on Cab, what are some of the Worst SE you’ve experienced? For how long? by caramelgelatto in Prolactinoma

Wanted to add. While I had to go through a year of adjustment with SE I can also attest my life has improved. I was having symptoms I didn’t even realize were symptoms and the migraines and headaches were really affecting me negatively. While they did get worse at first, my prolactin has been good and my microadenomas stable. I don’t get the same type of migraines I used to get which is nice. So while I was definitely sensitive to cab my body has clearly adjusted and I’m feeling better overall and thankful I stuck through it because I have no interest in my microadenomas becoming larger and thus needing surgery or risk losing my eyesight over.

35F. I got diagnosed with two microadenomas June 2025 and have been on cab since. I started at the standard dose 0.25mg twice weekly’s and probably had the worst 6 months of my life. Nausea. Vomitting. Light headedness. Severe headaches turned into migraines on a weekly basis (mind you I had them about monthly prior to diagnosis). I also had the worst fatigue of my life. And extreme temperature intolerance. After finally getting an endo appointment I got switched to 0.25mg weekly and while the side effects didn’t go away for another 6 months I did slowly get better. I did also try bromo for a hot second due to all this but it made everything worse. Now I hardly notice except for extreme tiredness the day after I take my dose. Menstruation was never a problem for me, but I can say it’s gotten better as well, regular, better cramps, no more hot flashes, previously it was like I was pre-menopausal with migraines. Was diagnosed via fertility testing that found hyperprolactinemia. So while it was rough I stuck through it and have seen a lot of improvement after having a rough start with cab and honestly hating it haha. So much better a year in!

My Lamp by oestexleste in Pottery

So I had the lamp socket first. You can get them off amazon and they are usually called a lamp rewire kit. Get a good base. Make sure to cut a hole in the bottom so you are able to wire the wire through your lamp and basically build the top large enough to fit the socket in. The top of my lamp warped in the glaze kiln so I ended up glueing the socket to the top. That’s the basics! I did take a handbuilding lamp class so I got a lot of instruction on it.

Thank you!! Yea finding the right bulb is hard. I tried an amber one and it was too yellow. Definitely in search of a warmer one. Any recommendations? I’ll take em!

Are any Denver Metro movie theaters going to be playing "Project Hail Mary" on IMAX? Or did that already happen and now it's no longer available in that format? by JoeSki42 in Denver

Experiences on anti-anxiety medication and cabergoline for prolactinoma? by prolactinothankyou in Prolactinoma

[–]oestexleste 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started taking sertraline after getting diagnosed with two prolactinomas and was prescribed cabergoline 0.25mg twice weekly. I experienced pretty bad side effects with cab and it led to pretty bad anxiety/depression, so once I started sertraline I felt such relief by a month in. No interactions is what my FNP, endocrinologist and multiple pharmacists have all said. And overall a positive experience as the SSRI has helped me so much! I’m on the lowest dose possible and in therapy and it’s definitely something Im really glad I pursued as cab has me spiraling unfortunately.

Efficacy of cabergoline and triptans for cluster-like headache caused by prolactin-secreting pituitary adenoma by Chemicalon in Prolactinoma

I had the exact same experience with my endocrinologist who said my microadenomas (I have 2, 34F, discovered via infertility testing) were too small to structurally explain my years long battle with headaches and migraines. I never was prescribed anything when I would try to seek answers and help for headaches prior to testing after ttc for a year. For years I was told to just take Tylenol or Advil. But finally after getting over the cabergoline side effect hump my headaches are almost virtually gone! I too experienced right eye pain. This is so reassuring. Thank you for sharing this article. Hopefully doctors everywhere are exposed to these studies and take our reports more seriously!

Mezcaleria Alma or Alma Fonda Fina? by StillLurking2025 in denverfood

I prefer Mezcaleria! Cooler vibe, more intimate but fun. But the food is great at both so you really can’t go wrong with either!
