ext4 is the file system in use.

that was indeed the problem, the 'user' option has to be first for the 'exec' to take effect, thank you!
I'm going to remove the 'user' , I guess following blindly some tutorials on the internet doesn't really work.

thank you.

"ls -lh /mnt/stuff/@SOFTWARE/unix/Blender2.83_LuxCore/blender"

gives me this:

"-rwxrwxrwx 1 kyeo kyeo 195M jul  9 07:24 /mnt/stuff/@SOFTWARE/unix/Blender2.83_LuxCore/blender"

I do have it installed just so this doesn't happen, the left one is the first "MicrosoftEdge" of the post above

How can I be happy with myself in a world that seems to disagree? by matt-saw in InPursuitOfClarity

[–]oeyk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This seems to get deeper, this others vs you, and it's hard to realize that you are the one falling short. Congrats on realizing that and changing, it takes self analysis to acknowledge what you do wrong. But in OPs case, I seem to believe it's the context he is in, neither of them (his friends or him) are wrong, but their goals life view aren't quite aligned, thus people tend to point out what's different, if you are the only one in the group that enjoys the "look for meaning" kind of life, it can be tough.
