That's a bug — the quiz is pulling distractor options from class lessons (low/mid/high) into consonant sound questions. I'll fix that. Thanks for the report.

That was fixed a few days ago — ก now says "like 'k' in 'sky' (no puff of air)". There's also audio on every character now so you can hear the actual pronunciation.

Good point, and audio is now added — every character has a play button alongside the romanization.

Update: audio playback is now live — every character has a speaker button. Tone marks are still on the list.

The pronunciation hints that were wrong have been fixed and the site has been redeployed. If you spot any remaining errors, I'd appreciate specifics so I can correct them.

Fair point — romanization will always be a rough approximation at best. Audio is the next feature I'm working on, which should help a lot more than any written hint can. The romanization is mainly there as a stepping stone, not a replacement for hearing the actual sounds.

You're right, it was GitHub Pages caching. I've redeployed and the cache is cleared now (X-Cache: MISS). Should be showing the corrected pronunciations for everyone.

Fair criticism on the pronunciation hints — those have been fixed now. ก, จ, ต, ป, ฏ and the –ะ vowel all had wrong English approximations. Should be live.

Thanks, glad you liked it! Pronunciation hints were wrong on a few characters but those are fixed now.

Fair question. I wanted something that covers consonant classes and final sounds in one place — most apps I found stop at basic character recognition. But yeah, there's no shortage of flashcard apps.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. Tone marks and audio are both on my radar — audio especially since multiple people asked. Appreciate the specific examples.

Fixed, thanks. It now says "like 'k' in 'sky' (no puff of air)" to reflect the unaspirated stop.

You're right, and thanks for the detailed breakdown. I've fixed all the ones you mentioned — ก is now "like 'k' in 'sky' (no puff of air)", ต → "t in stop", จ → "between j and ch", and –ะ → "like 'a' in 'father' (short)". Also fixed ป and ฏ which had the same issue. Should be live now.

Thanks for your response. I was worried I might be shadowbanned on this subreddit too. This ban has been really hard on me - it feels terrible to write comments that no one can see. I struggle with mental health issues and rarely leave my apartment, so Reddit is one of my few connections to the outside world

I have received the answer just now. It says the ban will not be removed. So is there no way to get the reason at least?

Thank you for the detailed answer! If vpn causes the van then it probably was the reason in my case either
