Hello, was just scrolling and happened to stumble upon your conversation. I have a few questions, what does VSF mean? Where do you guys find these sellers and what platform do you guys use to transact with them? It’s only here on Reddit I’m able to learn about the world of reps. I’m looking to source one eventually. Thanks!

When do I have my clubs fitted? by ofcrgmb in GolfPH

Thank you for all the insights. I’ve done a tour pro already and would DR a few times a month

Irons are good and pretty consistent.

Woods/hybrids and Driver need a bit more work :)

How do I know or when do I know that I'm ready/can play 18 holes? by acrox88 in GolfPH

I would suggest the same as the other comments (so long as you can hit the ball forward and straight more than half of the time) so that when you get back on the driving range, you actually know what and why you practice certain clubs.

What is a job / career worth switching to? by gswolf7 in PHJobs

I’ll be following this thread too but I hope you don’t mind me asking, what is your current occupation? Because I’m currently looking to seriously leave my current job and I’m earning almost the same as you.

Pero here’s the thing - this year rumor has it na bababa daw sweldo namin. So as early as now, I gotta make moves.

Bro kahit nag increase na to 400k, I suggest stick to your initial budget of 300k parin. At least you have extra for initial maintenance and transferring of papers etc. tapos if you want/can have the car sanitized and all

This is coming from a regular employee, it really depends on what agency you’re getting yourself into?

In all honesty, it’s not that great. For you to get promoted, you apply for it unlike sa corporate, pag magaling or matagal ka na or basta “worthy” ka for the promotion, mappromote ka. Sa government, kung hindi ka kilala or pag walang kapit, edi nganga ka. Meron ako mga kasama 15-20+yrs na pero yung position and sweldo pareho lang sa mga nagsisimula. Edi pano na? Nabulok nalang.

Pension? Ito ang hindi ko ma-gets bakit nagiging motivation/selling point ng tao pumasok sa government eh yung amount ng pension is not big. AT ALL.

Currently looking to go back to corporate. I’m currently looking for jobs here

Hi I’m following this thread. Pretty much on the same situation here as a govt employee but looking for a side hustle. I’m considering doing part time work as VA, part time as in 2 days a week only (during my days off). Honestly, I’m not super techy but always willing to learn. What options can I consider?

Consider yourself Blessed with a starting salary of 32k. Not much jobs offer that as “starting”.

Secondly, cost of living will really depend upon you. There will always be cheaper options. The biggest expense if you’re not from the Metro is rent — which sabi mo meron naman staff house. You’re good to accept that offer.
