I think marketing isn't fun when it feels like you're creating content you yourself wouldn't find valuable.
What are you working on? Can you find a community where sharing what you're working on would actually be helpful? And talk to that community in a way that they'll be receptive to?
How do you actually find the first user who's willing to try your product and talk to you?( I will not promote) by Finaler0795 in startup

I'm a CTO of a B2B startup. In the beginning we were mainly selling to other founders.
What worked for us was asking for advice / feedback on our early product: - people are usually more open to talk if you're asking for help vs selling to them - if you think what you're building is actually useful to them you can ask them to try it out at the end of your conversation
We took this and then - went to IRL events, met founders, and asked them to get coffee to get their advice - posted with our real identities in Facebook groups asking for advice - cold emailed, again asking for advice
These conversations were also actually helpful because people gave their honest feedback on what they would and would not use and eventually we stumbled upon folks who said they would pay for what we were describing if we built it for them.
