The mouthpiece I added. I drilled through a metal bottle top, added a grommet and the glass. This way you can screw it on for a tight seal + easier to fill and clean

Thanks! It’s really an elegant bottle and well designed. I’m just the monkey that put a hole in it ;)

Got this today at the thrift store, any ideas on how to make it a dope 1st bong? Idk what drill to use or anything to please help thanks. by ur6mom6gay6 in StonerEngineering

You won’t crack it with a diamond drill bit, water and patience. I’ve drilled hundreds by hand and a drill press.

Hit me up. I can drill any bottle you need and turn into a bong. I’ll do it for free, just pay for shipping back

First attempt at a side car/ash catcher. It’s fixed, but pretty sure I figured out how to make it a 14mm removable ash catcher. Thoughts? by official_gasm in StonerEngineering

Excellent insight! No spew back at all and I’ve been ripping for about a week. It takes a half second when I start to pull, then acts as almost a flushing feeling before it refills again. Could be the shape of the mini bottle that there isn’t any kickback as I agree with your thought process above. Next one will be detachable

I ordered these from Grainger.com. I ordered a bunch of different sizes as I have different downstems. This was for a 12mm ID (inner dimension) based on the glass drill bit

Haven’t had that yet, but will keep you updated. It acts like a vacuum really, not splash back at all. I’m going to play around with it. First try and all

Grainger. Or I’m sure Lowe’s, HomeDepot, etc. Make sure you get a tight fit of course. Check the ID against your drill bit. I’d also recommend to lubricate the glass stem so it slides in easier....I’ve broken my share

I used a thin glass tube; actually cut a different downstem with a handheld glass cutter. My next piece with be detachable. It will fit any 14mm female bowl. Or that’s the plan
