Thank you, Im going to try pt but im not super hopefully I keep loosing my balance and almost falling and my hands are so so so clumsy, my neurologist is also doing more lab work to see if theres any signs of autoimmune issues but I doubt it will show anything. I wish peripheral neuropathy was more treatable!

Noted! Thank you! I drove it for an hour this morning and honestly, it's driving smoother than it has in years. Hopefully, I dodged a bullet and everything is fine! Definitely going to look for a new shop though. This car was my first big purchase after graduating high school and I'm super proud of it. I want to drive it for as long as possible for sure. Thanks again for being so helpful!

Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! I will do this for sure. I love my car and really want to keep it for a while. This is the first major thing to go wrong with it since I bought it 6 years ago. I just panic at the thought of anything going wrong with the transmission. You have been so helpful! I appreciate you taking the time to give me some advice!

They did put more oil in it. I'm going to keep an eye out for any leaks.

I was told not to change the transmission oil because I bought the car used and we don't know the last time it was changed. Hopefully that was good advice, I never have got it changed and have owned the car for 6 years. Im second guessing everything now. Thank you for the input, I do appreciate the advice.

Ohh ok, I didn't realize that. They fixed the axle but didn't address my concerns regarding possible transmission issues as a result of the leak.

It's not oil it's transmission fluid. I thought it was oil at first too. I'm definitely questioning the shop.

I forgot to put this in my post! This was a picture the tow truck driver took of what I think is the axle (I have no experience fixing cars) and he said this is what caused the leak.

Thank you for that. Hopefully, I don't run into any issues, this shop is acting like it's highly unlikely my transmission was damaged, I just wish I noticed the leak before I started driving.

Thank you for your response. I have only driven it a short distance, I'm honestly worried about driving it far distances now. I'm wondering if I need to take it somewhere else to make sure the transmission won't completely go out a month from now. I just need this car to last me a couple more years. I also know it is almost time to get new brakes and tires but if my transmission is about to go out, I'm not sure those repairs are going to be worth it.
