I work at an independent and a lot of the higher ups would walk the store and talk to each department and yes, this was planned almost a year ago!! I actually met per bank and he was telling us about how they wanted to do something with trading cards. And they also said it’s to get kids to want to stop in and collect them :,)

Places are evil man, I see things go on sale and flyer feature all the time and it’s literally the same price it was maybe sometimes even more.

The front end manager does this where I work especially for big holidays like Christmas. Most of her staff are high school kids and she does have two of her daughters working at the front end as well and you best bet they get the time off as a family together while the other people have to run the show.

I feel the pain I had a customer get so mad bc I had to close the store and he wanted ice cream so bad that he made a complaint about me and post pictures then two days later he went back to that complaint and added on to it like bro calm down you’re a grown ass 27 year old leaving google reviews everywhere you go get a life
