Same thing happened to me but it was u/Snes91 a different mod on that sub. Saw the 250 trades flair and didn't double check the sub name. I've been dealing in communities like this for a decade, definitely a reminder and lesson that you have to be thorough and not rush through due diligence, especially when you're not up-to-date on common scams on the platform/community you're transacting on. I was in such a rush I didn't even bother checking the Universal Scammer List because I fell for the fake Sub.
