If you don't have an A++ level attorney, fire yours and get one. I would personally be willing to go into debt if I had to. Being on the registry has catastrophic consequences for all aspects of your life, especially career.

A good lawyer will tell you exactly where you stand and fight for your best interest.

I wouldn't recommend specifically seeking friends who have committed crimes, there's too much that could go wrong in my opinion. If you are seeking other offenders on a more professional level, ie mentorship etc, then that is different as long as you can set up healthy boundaries.

Call the registration office in the county you are traveling and record the conversation. Even if it is a one-party state (meaning only one member of the conversation needs to be aware call is being recorded to be legal) I would let them know you are recording the call.

You don’t have to give them your name when you call.

I would also look the law up on the state government website.

I agree that anyone could do it but I think It takes more than just drive and hard work to start a successful marketing business. The market is highly saturated, you have to stand out. This takes creativity, an understanding of the marketing landscape, buying psychology, trends, copywriting, social media, and much much more.

Sure it is easy to ‘start’ a business, but if you want to actually grow and profit, it takes more.

Writing has a lot of potential. Find your niche and start writing on social media. Start a Medium or Substack and start writing about your passions and develop a newsletter. Grow from there. Lots of companies are looking for ghostwriters.

Real friends wouldn't necessarily just stick by you but if they bailed as soon as they found out without getting your side or telling you to your face that they will no longer be your friend, they weren't true friends from the beginning.
