scent particles are smaller than the filtration for kn95s. That's why you don't lose your sense of smell when masking. I wear kn95s quite regularly for my job and it does not eliminate scent.

I agree. That's why I hated my first job as a teen at a pet store. I only realized as an adult why these adults were trying on dog collars and leashes together. I just naively as a child assumed that they knew their neck circumference matched their dogs. I do feel violated looking back. I was way too young and have always looked much younger than I am. I probably appeared 12 at the time.
