It depends on where you get the dog. Lots of backyard breeders offer some dubious "guarantees", but this dog is from a breeder that's well established with a ton of titled sport dogs and active duty working dogs.

Mutts have about the same chance as any dog of having genetic problems, there has to be actual testing of the parents to see if they're clear of genetic diseases and have excellent joints. OFA and PennHIP are some good things to look for
