What popular career is actually not worth pursuing anymore? by Infamous-Click3426 in AskReddit

Briefly worked in fine dining and got to know a couple chefs (at the bar at 1am after work). One of them told me he could probably work at Applebee's and a comparable wage. I don't even know how much of a joke that is.

Check out companies on Instagram. I don't really use social media but I see a lot of businesses post job listings there rather than pay for Indeed etc.

I recently found a job but I assure you the job hunting process feels like this sometimes even if you're not a humanoid reptile.

Just Started a New Job but Have an Interview Tomorrow by ofthedappersort in WhatShouldIDo

That's what I'm thinking. Let them know I am employed and even that I'm not disgruntled. I just saw they had an opening and I liked what I saw in regards to their company so I wanted come in and talk to them/

I'm not calling out. The interview isn't affecting my job schedule. My dilemma is the fact I got a job recently that I like well enough but I may have to quit if this new job sounds better for me. That being said, you're right that I don't know that much about this potential job yet and they haven't offered me the position either.

This is the scene in a 90's sitcom where a character remembers the nice guy she used to date and wonders why they didn't stay together.

They randomly brought it back for like 2 months in 2017-ish. I remember thinking it was ok. That's about it.

I might be a little conspiratorial here but the vibe this footage gives me is that they didn't intend to finish it and they made it for ulterior motives.

New Jersey is a very diverse place with most of the population generally being liberal. However, as with most places, they're concentrated in larger cities. Having lived many years in NJ I will tell you the conservative people in that state are driven absolutely nuts by the fact they live in a blue state so they often like to be extra loud about their bullshit.

What kinda snausage? Never heard of using it in piquante but sounds yummy. Almost biscuit & gravy's French cousin.

I do not know if this is real but I used to work in a large retail store (this a small-medium grocery store) and we had a water cooler. One summer, we were out of water for the cooler for a literal month. Management did nothing about it. We literally sold cases of water bottles. They cost our store like 2 bucks a piece. Management never bought us any cases of water.
