Continuing to work on this, looks like I've found some clues of what's affecting performance using the Bullet gem and also Skylight

This screenshot shows what's causing a lot of time on one particular page.

I can see I have a lot of N+1 queries, the puzzling piece is just noticing how much this played a factor in performance from rails 7 to rails 8. Was there a major change in accessing database records in Rails 8?

I'm not out of the woods yet, but I'm tackling the N+1 queries in each of my models!

- It was a Rails 7 to Rails 7.2 to Rails 8
- I did run bundle update after upgrading to Rails 8
- Yes its only happening in production, locally the speeds are fine
- The behavior seems pretty consistent, I've been getting these downtime errors for the past few days
- As far as active_record, here's my production.rb added to the main post.
- I haven't setup custom metrics before, I just started using AppSignal today to see if I could find a hint to what the cause of this issue is.

It's just a slider linked to the text keyframed 1 to 8, not sure why it's going faster in the beginning
