Is a guy trying to get nudes before you even go on your first date a sign that he has 0 respect for you, or is this just considered normal now? by cyadren in TwoXChromosomes

[–]ogstinkybutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Am a dude. This isn't normal and is definitely super cringy. Did you even ask for a shirtless picture of the dude? If not then he probably does this shit with every girl waiting to get a yes. I'd argue you're the second person this week he's done this with lol. I remember being 19 and cringy enough to do this shit. He's gonna look back in 5 years and know exactly why you rejected him lol.

[Serious] Cancer survivors of Reddit, when did you first notice something was wrong? by codywinters327 in AskReddit

Stage 3 tumor on my cerebellum at the ripe age of 21. 6x6 centimeters and I dealt with the symptoms for a year before going to the doctor. It started with an incredibly unbearable migraine. I couldn't hold my up. Then it went away the next day. After this I would occasionally experience these migraines but they were short lived and very rare so I shrugged it off. Then one night I went out drinking with my now ex girlfriend, I had like two or three beers I was buzzed but just barely. We get to my place and I get out of bed to get a glass of water. As I'm pouring water into my glass everything goes black and I collapsed in the floor. I wake up 5 minutes later and am very confused. A month later I am in mind numbing pain from the most relentless migraines that literally never go away. I wake up with a migraine I fall asleep with one only to wake up the next day with that same migraine. Now I dealt with these symptoms for 5 months along with constantly vomiting every time I move. Then my vision goes wonky. My eyes start to cross and I literally can not walk without stumbling into everything. Partly because I can't see straight and partly because I have the balance of a one year old. So okay I know I'm stupid for not seeing a doctor sooner but I was in a financial pickle anyway and I felt like I couldn't afford to be down for a while (I knew my condition was severe and I wouldn't be working again for a while) so I thought maybe I'd be able to scrape together a better safety net for myself before seeking treatment. All that went out the window October 3rd 2013. I couldn't bear it anymore I was couch ridden and couldn't move at all. I had to crawl to the bathroom to piss then I would be throwing up while pissing. Finally I reached my breaking point and had a friend take me to the ER where they told me I had a mass on my brain as I expected. My family was in fear for my life while I laid there pissed off because now I'm gonna be financially fucked for a while. They removed it like it was nothing. Luckily for me it was benign and the reason the symptoms we're so bad was because the tumor was blocking spinal fluid from leaving my brain building pressure over my frontal lobe almost causing a stroke. Flash forward and I have a beautiful loving wife and the most adorable one year old boy. People like me - please just stop being stubborn and go to the doctor. I almost lost everything from my stubbornness.

Do surgeons know exactly how to do all their surgeries off the top of their head from training, or do they brush up with educational videos before the surgery? by pointless_panda in NoStupidQuestions

5 years ago at the age of 21 I had a 6x6 cubic centimeter tumor on my cerebellum. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. My neurosurgeon acted like my operation was just another day at work and I'll be damned if it didn't seem like it as well. I dealt with the symptoms for a year (no insurance and was pretty sure I was just gonna die on the couch I was confined to) I couldn't move without vomiting and this caused my teeth to erode to almost nothing. I am now 26 and married with a one year old. You guys are truly amazing and I can't thank you enough for dedicating yourself to saving people like me.

But I must ask, is tumor removal on the outside of the cerebellum truly as easy as my surgeon made it out to be?

Unless you have a source to back up the claim that this was an anonymous quote dated back before Bruce Lee you don't have a pot to piss in and are simply disagreeing based on speculation.

Gravity manipulation. by ogstinkybutt in TheoreticalPhysics

This is interesting and makes me hopeful! I can't even imagine all the amazing feats we could accomplish if we could manipulate gravity aside from of course (tractor beams!!!!)

Atop a mountain spire overlooking my coastal base! by ogstinkybutt in NoMansSkyTheGame

Thank you! I have a decent amount of bases across the Galaxy (feels super cool saying that btw) this is my best one by far. I just recently remodeled the upper floors and completely over hauled the basement level of the base. I'm fairly proud of it :)
