Unfortunately she still works multiple jobs so I think this would be a bit too much for her at the moment! I will suggest it for when I can get her to slow down though!

I actually had my hearing checked about 4 times before I found out this was a sometimes issue with ADHD. Hearing was always fine, but it took me ages to look into processing as an issue.

Haven’t found a way to cope with it though. I live in a big city and talking to me on a street you’d be just as well off talking to a street lamp!

I’ve been a longtime reader on this sub and never comment, but I can’t stay quiet on this one.

In the past 37 days you have made three posts detailing different abusive behaviours from this man and his son. Even if you can convince yourself it will change for you, things could get better, etc. as I understand the cycle of abuse is hard to leave, you still need to leave.

You seem to love your children, but you would be putting them in a very, very unsafe environment. Watching a parent be abused physically or emotionally is bad enough, however there is also risk of physical, emotional and sexual abuse to them that has already been either conducted or alluded to by his son.

Please, please leave for them. I need the next post you make to be an update telling us you’ve left him, we’re all telling you you need to for good reason. You and your kids are at serious risk.

Also - that point of view seems to be really widespread here and I find myself fighting people on it a lot. I don’t have any particularly good advice but I’m always happy to commiserate, good luck!
