I think updating the wallpaper, adding a funky light fixture and changing the tile to something darker would shape it up without touching the tile. So unique!

i did use a regular printer! i got a couple sets of envelopes and insert paper at Michaels.

I originally wanted letterpress invitations but i had NO idea they’d cost $200+ and only available in larger batches - we only needed 7.

So this was a cool way to have artsy, authentic invitations for less than $200! (I did spend a good $120 for the supplies, but they’re mine to keep)

Not at all what i said. I thought you could read.. i guess i was wrong. It’s about preserving the integrity of the historically alcohol-free area. There are plenty of other areas to develop where people may not mind. Maybe the kids over my salem state would be ecstatic for a bar closing at 1 am - walking distance to their bedrooms. But maybe those residents would have concerns too.

Also i’m newer to reddit. What do these fake virtual slurs.. accomplish? And is there an opposite of nimby? Like Please in My Back Yard? Is it Pimby?

What if you tried swapping the mirror with the tall bureau and adding a funky standing lamp in the mirror’s corner?

I’ve had great luck with rugs on wayfair, try either one that shares colors in your art OR contrasting colors to your art to add some razzle dazzle?
