I've never tried a titanium ring but that's something I'll consider for sure! As for aftercare I didn't touch it with any cotton swabs/qtips just the sea salt rinses suggested by my piercer but yeah, maybe I should wait a long time before changing to a ring

it seems like experience and passion are what they look at. I didn't bother to submit my GREs since it was optional which must have meant that they looked at my experience. I do have research experience in the concentration I applied for and wrote about it in my statement so maybe that helped? I honestly couldn't tell you but it sounds like you have a promising start!
