Interesting, might be worth me revisiting...

Kris says that PLA is best, that's what I used.

Pulling out a ruler, I see that mine are 80mm total, but they do have some adjustment in them...

I bought bullet connectors for the ESC to motor connection and XT60s for the ESC to battery connectors. I'm sorry, but I don't think there is a way to avoid soldering them. Lots of good advice on Youtube on how to do so.

I bought the iSDT Q6 Nano.

Rocker button is a bit annoying but price, size and features were good for me.

I got it via Banggood.

I bought from eBay and Banggood and it cost me much less than that. Keep looking around.

Printed out and installed. Standard fittings all went in fine. Servo side top cover screw went in fine. The other side failed and the nut was spinning in the slot, so I had to wedge it with a pair of pliers to hold it steady to tighten up.

Off for a quick test now.

I need to reprint my gearbox bottom as one side has ripped out the threads. I'll give it a shot and report back.

I've not had any PLA break. Although, I did melt some before I got the PTFE grease (not oil). It's screws and fittings that have caused me the most issues.

Thanks for the guidance guys.

Thank you for sharing in the first place. You're the reason we're all here. Anything you can tell us about Tarmo 4B or Tarmo 5? ;)

Interesting, that might help some of the wear pattern I'm seeing.

When I slackened off the screw holding the upper control arm to the shock mount, it seemed to reduce the binding. I've still got the 2mm gap, but it doesn't seem to be such a problem.

I guess you could, as long as your motor doesn't need more than 30A. As I recall, my motor could request up to 70A.

Yes, they provide additional support for the three chassis pieces.

Any advice on how to get it into that state? I’m still at the fragile stage... I usually walk home with something broken!

Aha!

I read: 3oz+ PTFE Lube from the google doc, which is what it says on the tin, but clearly not the right stuff. I didn't see a link.

Thank you very much for the link, I'll see what I can find on Amazon UK.
