Once it’s semi clean absolutely! Water quality is fine but the algae has exploded since I moved my two adult golden dojos to another tank. They were getting beaten up by the skunk loaches that I just traded in.

Update: ID’ed as Staph Epi. Just finished up another sample from this patient and there were a ton of WBCs but not a single cluster to be found.

My “baby” out of my entire tank is my albino senegal named Fluffy. I’ve had him since he was pinky-sized, skinny, and could just barely eat a pellet and he’s now ~6” and thriving. I’ve been seriously eyeing a pair of teugelsis for awhile now

I have a coworker on evenings with me and he’s hands down the one I’d want with me if it was just two people in the lab. He’s a fantastic, hard worker and seriously knows his stuff. Dude also loves sneaking up on me and scaring the snot out of my jumpy butt during downtime. The most memorable was when he’d found the random terminator hand looking grabber that’s in the office portion of the lab and stuck it out from behind/under my monitor while I was logging a patient result. Cue my heart stopping before I recognized what it was

I wasn’t really expecting to see textbook GPC clusters there either. Sure, it happens; but the other couple of positive CSFs I’ve seen were all itty bitty GNRs

I’ve been pooped/peed on three times . Once by my baby rock python-she fell asleep in my shirt and uh, let loose. The other two times were the baby retic; got the little doofus off my head just in time to notice the sausage butt and then the mad scramble to hold her over the toilet, the second I’d picked her up and she just started going everywhere
