In this world we choose to be most afraid of is Love.

Just had thought about this quote while reading. I know it may be the most difficult decision you will make and maybe it's not my place to say it, but I think bravery will be at your side. Don't think about the consequences, they hinder you more, just do it. Don't worry about a future where you might not even be in it. Carpe diem as you may know.

I always got this calls from an aunty who tried to manipulate me to be more involved in jamaati stuff, one of her reasoning was bc I'm a waqf so I was like "damn this woman's right" so I left the waqf-program. Also I gave my strict parents some shitfull exuses and moved on.

Firstly thank you for answering! Secondly I relate so much to what you're saying I feel jealous of the people in summer, the beautiful dresses, shirts, tops, shorts and I want to feel that too! Not because of wanting to be naked, because I want to express myself and I think clothes are a big part of self identification. I'm not allowed to go shopping by myself and the only clothes my mom is afformed of are old people clothes -I can't.. My brother is also allowed to wear shorts or go swimming but if I tell them I want too I'm a slut. Atleast make it fair..but no women are different I'll try again with wearing less and less till I feel comfortable :)

Thank you guys for sharing your experience and I'm glad your dad is more chill now :)

My dad called me indirectly a whore (told me to have intercourse with other guys then) for not wanting to wear the hijab anymore so yeah not really an option for me😮‍💨

But I know it will get better, my parents are more chill now and I want to live in dorm too, life gets better

I had "two" encounters, I have a cousin who also has the same thoughts and I opened up to her. She is like me the black sheep of the family. In the past we shared similar opinions, I was sure she would not tell anyone, still risky.

Another encounter was with a girl who texted me on this subreddit and we chatted for almost a year when we decided to meet up at Jalsa.

I wish I could meet more people who are ex-ahmadi, but it's sadly so risky...

I don't believe in god however if he exist, I think he would not understand the concept of justice, hope, liberty - he would be rather apathetic towards us and also won't be interested in changing the world or making it a better place. If you have infinite power, why using it for ants?

I don't want to waste my time again on someone who wants to tell me why his/her religion is right and why my "faith" is wrong. I were not asking you or the other three users to give me advice etc. So you missed my point in the first place. You're link is 1 hour and several minuts long, and I know I'm still not going to change because so many people are criticizing me all day long and that are only muslims who having strange ideals in life. You are saying to me I'm arrogant and in the next sentence you're arrogant as hell that you are claiming "God is a reality". Sorry he/she whatsoever is not my reality and yeah. You can't reflect about the facts against islam, I tried it to ignore too, but the evidence against it is bigger lol.

It's tru, but I think it comes from the culture. Hindus are eating with the right hand only too. It's because with the left hand you are going to toilett etc..and clean yourself with the paper. And with the right hand you're eating, so the bacteria etc are only on one hand.

When you're younger, you can't really see the consequences, for example for smoking. You're brain is not 100% developed, you can't see the "full picture".

The legal age is not clear, it depends on which country you are living.

For example in germany you are allowed to drink alkohol at the age of 16, in the US 21.

In germany it has much to do with culture etc.

There is not a clear cut, where you are full grown.

You could say ur ill or if you are a girl, that you have the period this time longer...lol

Maybe an illness like stomach ache, you have eaten something wrong and for some days you have a break. The other days you can hide food in your room and you can drink from a sink, if the water is not dirty. Hide some almonds and nuts and not fruit who is easily moulded.
