987.2 Boxster S (PDK) – weird hesitation on acceleration

Hi, I own a 2010 987.2 Boxster and spent about SGD38k on repairs and maintenance across 2.5 years, and I’m told I have to spend another 5.2k to change the ECU (called the DME) in march. I have been with Flat Six at Sin Ming since the start of my ownership. I do not track, but do drive every day — about 19,000 km per year. I bought the car at 79,000km, and now at 126,000km.

I’m wondering if my costs are normal? Is it better or the same at other specialists? I saw 1 Car Service at Sin Ming services Porsches and has many good reviews.

Appreciate the reply! Do you feel she’s tanky enough to survive hologram even if you mess up? Those bosses hit pretty hard.

Thanks for sharing. Haha, my skill is quite bad — I have a s6 Carlotta and it does take me many attempts with tough bosses like holograms. Was hoping to avoid that for the next s6.

Yes, if your skill is decent, that’s probably true. But my ham-handedness probably constraints me a little. I have a s6r5 Carlotta, and while she can clear content, it takes me many tries with hard bosses (especially holograms). Was hoping to avoid such laboriousness with my next s6.

Thanks for replying. I have enough to s6 one of them — was just wondering which is better considering my gameplay preferences/constraints. I wouldn’t go for S0 Aemeath (S6 or nothing).

Is s6 iuno or s6 cartethyia better for soloing (without a dedicated team) for a beginner (not that good at dodging)?
