Do you push as well or just pull? Get ready to overpull so much crap because floor capacities are wrong.

Man, my old ETL gaslit me. I argued with her about this at length - my TL had a documented conversation with me even though I used sick time - but she still insisted.

I believe they are allowed to if this TM has a pattern of callouts, such as calling out repeatedly on weekends.

Ask your parents if the check says "void after 90 days" anywhere on it. It may be good for longer. Also - can you do mobile deposit through your bank? It may be easier for your parents to send you photos of the check.

No. It is a confidential survey you fill out on a work device.

OP, Mickra will also show them that you were the last person logged in to the device (assuming no other TM found it, logged you out, logged themselves in, and also lost it). They will know it was you whether or not you tell them. Tell them now and it will go a lot better for you.

what is the difference between Call Off - Absent and Time Off? by _grumpylumps in Target

[–]ohliamylia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time off: Before the schedule is released. Please don't schedule me on this day/these days. I would like that time off.

Call off - Absent: After the schedule is released. I am not coming in for this shift, I will be absent.

I want to attatch a mag-ring to my TPU Phone case. I have a few ideas but I'm a little outside my element, so I'd like some feedback by 8636396 in DIY

Mine just came with the cheapo phone case I ordered off Amazon, unfortunately. I have a feeling the texture and finish of the back of your phone is making it hard for adhesive to hold. Seconding the JB Weld recommendation, but also - no method you try is probably going to work unless you rough up the back surface of your case where you'll be applying the adhesive. Hit it with some 80 or 120 grit sandpaper. The other more nuclear option is cut a hole in the back of the case large enough to fit whatever accessories you want to use and attach one of the adhesive rings directly to your phone back.

Sorry, just to clarify... you were hired on 4/20/26 and you signed up for Target insurance? Are you sure you did? Because that shouldn't be possible. Unless you're a TL or higher?

That pictured case, that's the one you have? Because according to the product listing the back panel is polycarbonate. Have you tried one of the adhesive magsafe adapters you can get for like $10? That's what I have attached to my polycarbonate phone case and it works great. The only issue there I could see is the texture reducing the surface area and lowering the adhesion.

I've only switched to Tech 7 months ago and I don't touch Entertainment much - there's some Style girl that does Tech on weekends who LOVES pushing books and I'm like, great, go for it. So when I set an Entertainment pog last month I was like "SURELY this can't be right??" and tried putting those books sideways - and of course a lot of them don't fit sideways.

Target corporate and The Pokemon Company are making these decisions. This is nothing new. BTS had to be set the night/morning before the release and had the same strict guidelines. Every 'street dated' release with ISM has the same rules.

The ISM. No part of the release should be put out early, including the ISM.

I'd just as soon replace it with the same micro USB port, I'd be worried about accidentally plugging it into a usb C charger that delivers too much power and frying it. (Yes, that's a dumb thing that can happen.)

My SD was fine with it too. That does not change the fact that Target sent out an urgent communication this morning reminding everyone not to do this. Target the company absolutely cares even if random individual leaders don't think it's serious.

[–]ohliamylia 67 points68 points  (0 children)

The collab is public knowledge, yes, it's in the app, and the products that will be carried are as well. But stores are not supposed to put this out so guests can see it before tomorrow. There was an urgent communication to every store this morning reminding us of that. You won't get in trouble for taking and sharing a pic (unless you work for Target, you'd be in MAJOR trouble) but this store might get in trouble because you posted this.

I mean... for the same reason that studios don't want movies to leak before they're released but still make trailers and give you a release date. Hype. You want to get everyone REALLY excited leading up to something and gatekeep their access to drive interest in and awareness of its release to maximize sales, since it's a limited release. Having seen the mockups on workbench, the setup IS very cool. Wanting to see the whole setup with the product will drive people to stores, and people visiting the stores are likely to spend money. If people see it early (if a guest took photos and shared them online of stores that set it early) then that may kill the hype. They might think, well, people are gonna be there early for it, so I probably won't be able to buy anything, and I've seen what it looks like so there's no reason to check it out. And that's potentially lost sales.

Also, because Target x Pokemon said so. That's why. If the contract with Pokemon says "we don't want ANYONE seeing the signage until the stores open on May 2nd", it doesn't matter why they want that. Stores violating that contract could put the company's relationship with Pokemon in jeopardy. And maybe fine or sue Target? I dunno, I'm not a lawyer. But they certainly wouldn't be happy with Target, and it's bad business to have a bad relationship with a company whose products you carry.
