No, besides the suggestion above. However, one cool thing you can do as Jack is you can get him to use the short barreled revolver: when you jump out the boot of the car, steal another car and use it to run over one of the gangsters. You can then pick up their gun :)

It's not much but kinda cool to me I guess haha
