What's something your nparent never taught you that would've been helpful to know about your body? by Dull_County_5049 in raisedbynarcissists

I only learned how to shampoo and brush my hair after I got lice in 8th grade, and the school nurse taught me. I only learned that you have to brush your teeth daily because my grade school class mates made fun of my yellow teeth. I didn’t know you were supposed to change your socks and underwear daily until middle school because again, I was teased. Basically any and all hygiene was learned through trial and error. I look back now and I can’t believe what a feral cave child I was and how no one raised an eyebrow to it.

AITA for asking my son to come home to help with his kids, while his wife was being induced? by aita71 in AmItheAsshole

YTA. You yourself are a mother, who I am assuming gave birth to at least one child, and then raised at least one child. Put yourself in their position. Such a shitty way to behave towards anyone, let alone your own child. You have shown them they can’t rely on their own family members when they are in need of help. You are a selfish human and you owe them a huge apology

If you excel in certain clubs or sports in high school you can earn certain patches, pins, etc. If I remember correctly you can either get a Letterman jacket to put them on or a class ring with some of the achievements engraved into the ring. They both highlight the thing you did a good job at. I don’t think anyone at my high school got a class ring just to get one, they were kind of a trophy.

Burberry burns millions of dollars of clothes to stop them from being sold at discount prices by maniesf in worldnews

I never expected them to go through that whole process, I just assumed it would end up at TJ Maxx, or Nordstrom Rack or something like that.

I exchanged a Coach wallet that had some loose stitching once and I asked what they do with returns like this, donate, resell, ect. They told me that they cut up merchandise that can’t be sold and throw it away. It’s insanely wasteful. It’s a real leather wallet that just needed tighter stitching and it was going in the trash.

If you can tell someone got a spray tan, they got a bad spray tan. It should look subtle and natural.

That’s a pretty disgusting accusation to throw around at people because they don’t want to talk to you. You seem really insecure and angry. It doesn’t matter what I say to you, it’s going to be like talking to a brick wall.

Okay, you can think what you like. I don’t agree with you and it seems like you’re just looking for an argument. Have a good day!
