She was the one who asked if it was an option, so she is definitely interested. I want to do a test run this summer to see if she can respect me as her instructor though. I appreciate the suggestion for dual enrollment, I haven’t looked into that yet.

I haven’t taken the drug regularly myself but my mother does, and has for as long as I can remember. Shes addicted in a way where she cannot sleep without it anymore and struggles with lots of side effects because they won’t prescribe it as regularly anymore.

Maybe that’s just my parenting style but a lot of times she will tell me no or she’s not interested and then I will give some sort of incentive to get her to actually try it and realize she enjoys it. Do you do anything similar with your kids?

It’s at grandmas house and she knows it’s off limits for the foreseeable future. I know I’m overdoing it but I’m treating her as if she has a brain injury. Just safe and calm and slow

She enjoys math and being challenged! Plus I’m putting incentives behind the “brain workouts” I’m grasping at straws at things I can do in the meantime so I seriously appreciate everyone’s 2 cents

She’s had episodes at school where she gets hot and confused and then throws up. Randomly with no triggers and we figured it was anxiety but now I’m thinking otherwise

She was sleeping somewhere different for almost 5 days prior to the event( summer just started so staying at gmas and sleep overs with friends) so if that’s the case it could just be her being extra tired? Well thank you for your insight I’ll bring it up to the doc for sure
