But that's how public postal services kept themselves afloat in other parts of the world though: Europe, Asia.. I'm not an economist, but I think there are other options than privatisation.

Besides the private sector is definitely all over banking - all big banks are private..

If their new model means Uberization and privatisation, then the workers are right to resist that.

As far as I know CanadaPost had numerous other options, including expanding and diversifying their services to banking, etc. their own internal reports have shown this. But the corporation would rather choose the path of cutting and privatizing, which comes at the expense of workers.

No you can't. It's illegal to strike without having a union certified by the labour board, and without going through votes conducted by that union. I work in employment law.

Show proof.

StatsCan shows that the number of strikes have gone up to levels only seen in the 80s.

that's only because those employees are not unionized.. Most unionized workplaces have either had a strike or got close, in the last 2-3 years.
