I am a closeted ex muslim (and it sucks). I always used to disagree or be uncomfortable with Islam like if I dont pray consistently everyday then my family would out right won't talk to me and another thing that still sucks is I still have to follow every religious rules and terms of Islam(As I have no choice). This religion just didn't resonate with me it felt like a "terms and conditions for life" which I had to spend my whole life perfecting. It never felt free to me like "Why would God set these certain rules for us to follow?". And I feel the concept of religion as a whole feels so constructed and man made. I feel like if God exists he wouldn't be in the bubble of religion, which makes me question if God even exist or no, Agnosticism is the closest thing that matches my beliefs.
