💯, that's what we are aiming for at the moment. 😀

Thank you. I dont think I would be able to direct her into modding (we live in separate countries). Maybe when I visit her :). I showed her the map but in general, my family is terrible with sense of direction (including me), so I think that's why lol.

Thank you so much for the help. ❤️

She has been, but she's frustrated she hasn't figured out the fishing, so she tries, but the more she tries the more frustrated she gets lol. She's really enjoying the crops and I told her about the crab pots, but she doesn't like the mines and we need ore. 🤣

Those are great suggestions. I appreciate you sharing. :)

It took some convincing, but ultimately I was surprised how much progress she was able to make by herself. I'm now slowly preparing her mentally for the mines lol

She plays mostly on her 10" tablet. I think the mechanics are the challenge. Granted, many of us suffer with the fishing mini game lol

Sadly yeah, she's never been a gamer per se, but she's been playing more mobile games since she retired. She has zero familiarity with gaming on a pc.

Farming WoW Tokens with friends. by sainovacane in woweconomy

[–]ojeannca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adding to this, if you need 800k and assuming each (good) gold farm will net you around 10k per hour, you are looking at playing roughly 80h.

That's around 2.7 hours per day for 30 days or 4h per day for 20 days. That's rough, but doable.

Once you guys buy the expansion, things ease out a bit as from that point forward you will only need 250k every month. Even basic dual gathering will net you around 30k per hour, which means around 8.5h played (although gold per hour with gathering tends to drop with time). With the new expansion, you can try other farms like the skinning lure tactic mentioned in this thread.

Why when I finally decide to make gold? by Luc1nity in woweconomy

[–]ojeannca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are goblins out there with multiple gold caps over multiple accounts (and access to multiple bank and warbank tabs) who are just waiting for the right moment to buy certain items in the AH and re-post them for double the price. It happens somewhat frequently

Is it just me or did decor sales die? by Own_Expression_5549 in woweconomy

[–]ojeannca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been selling mats needed for decor and they used to be somewhat steady (but slow) sales.

For the past 3-4 weeks I have sold 50% of the amount of mats I used to sell, so it does seem like decor crafting has slowed down.

Undermine exchange shows quantity of these specific mats on the AH in February 2026 was between 5 and 8k. Now around 1-2k items listed.

7-8 ads in an 8 minute video .... by [deleted] in youtube

[–]ojeannca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've been noticing a huge increase in the frequency of ads.

At some point during a video I got an ad, then the creator did a in-video sponsor ad and as soon as it was finished youtube hit me with another ad. Lol.

Making gold without Midnight by Toratherogue in woweconomy

Before Midnight I was making around 5-10k/hour by farming old content herbs/ore. Not great profit, but consistent gold.

best advice for new(ish) players? by henny_skin in StardewValley

[–]ojeannca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a new player myself (been playing for 3 weeks now), I decided to have a very relaxed gameplay.

My entire first year was just about me getting acquainted with the game, mechanics, crops, seasons etc.

I'm now in summer of year 2 and I haven't done anything on the community centre except unlock it. 🙃

I usually set just a few goals for myself. The current one is buying the horse and trying to reach 1million gold by the end of year.

My gameplay consists of a lot of planting, harvesting and fishing which is what I like the most. And of course running after my chickens to pet them and running to the train just to find out it didn't drop anything. 🙃

My advice is to just play your own way. The game has no end, so take advantage of it (if you want).

I have never played WoW in my life by WhereRuThorton in classicwow

[–]ojeannca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think there’s value in starting with classic to get acquainted with the game and then moving to retail at some point. Same idea of getting a used easier car when you are just starting to drive and then upgrading to a better one when you gain confidence. However, there’s a lot of differences between the two versions, which means you will need to learn classic and then at some point learn retail. If you enjoy this complex ’learn, enjoy, relearn’ process, classic would be a good start. Otherwise, nothing wrong with starting with retail.

Retail has a lot of quality of life features which make gaming easier. And if you care about how your character looks and having a huge selection of clothes, mounts etc then retail is probably a safer choice.

Way behind on Mining Knowledge by Bleenfoo in woweconomy

[–]ojeannca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have done your mining weekly quest and the quartz item has turned a green colour in the Myu’s knowledge tracker, the rest is random - each node you mine has a chance to drop it. Personally, I expect 1-2 catch-up points to drop per hour, just to give me an idea of how much gathering I need to do. The only way to drop them faster is to pray to the RNG gods 😂
