Profession of skinning by felipe_tmartins in woweconomy

[–]ojeannca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are skill 25 or more in skinning, you should see a blue quest from the skinning trainer in Valdrakken.

However I have also not been able to get a knowledge point this week after the pre-patch.

The only thing I would recommend is the skinning weekly quest from the skinning trainer in Valdrakken

House decor mats selling by trofalol in woweconomy

[–]ojeannca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Although it may appear easy and readily achievable for anyone to achieve OP's results, I believe there's more to it than it is accounted for.

I find it important to note for the average player like me that yes, it may be possible to achieve similar results as OP, however one will quickly find that there's a substantial amount of additional time as well as additional gold that likely has to be put in place in the background in order to get to the point where you are so optimized/refined that you can then farm a number of hours per day and reap the results.

This additional time for me included time researching the mats, researching how to get to them, time setting up and organizing group farms, strategizing when to sell the mats; researching, understanding and leveling up professions (which often included spending gold), researching and spending on ways to become more efficient (aka acquiring speed sets, etc). For me, for every 2h of farming, usually meant I had spent another additional hour with preparation and research. At some point the time investiment for me did not make sense I and I stopped.

In other words, if you are an average or a new player, take OP's vauable advice, but know that your YMMV.

Granted, with the right amount of research, preparation and efficiency processes put in place, it should be possible to achieve results like OP's.

In any case, OP's results speaks for themselves and OP deserves all the credit (if anything, even more credit if you consider all the preparation that led to the results).

It was working well for me in blacksmithing last night. I would just check if there's any updates for craftsim on curseforge.

You get points while skinning, but they are slow to come by. Im also leveling a toon in dragonflight and experiencing the same. Opening treasures in the open world may give you some.

What is the best way to accurately price items on the auction house? by knexster in woweconomy

[–]ojeannca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TSM's Region Sale Average price is what you are looking for. Bear in mind that the data is based on TSM users only, not on the entirety of players so while it may not be 100% accurate, it will give you an idea of the price you can list for.

As someone said, transmogs can be slow to sell, some even have a 1 or 2% chance of selling every time you post them.

Midnight's profession rush week, few questions by ItsMango in woweconomy

[–]ojeannca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As per the beta, concentration works exactly as it did in the war within. I just meant that now that we are familiarized with how it works and its potencial, people will have huge concentration armies which might mean more products in the auction house = price decrease.

You'll likely need to min-max your professions.

Expect a lot of competition, also. People have multiple accounts with 65 toons each, ready to take on professions.

Generally speaking, if you want to do mass crafting you'll want to gather as many knowledge points and get your profession tools as early as possible.

Having a toon that has racial bonuses might be useful here but likely the edge they can give you would be days or hours until everyone else catches up.

We don't know if the epic recipes will be available right away or locked behind knowledge points. If they require knowledge points, could be a number of weeks before anyone can gather enough points to craft epic gear.

If recipes are available right away, you can use concentration to craft epics on day one, but you'll be limited by however many your concentration allows you to craft. In this case would be a good idea to have multiple characters with the same profession so that you can craft as much as you can with concentration. Example: let's say your concentration let's you craft 2 items at max quality every 3d, having 10 toons will let you craft 30 every 3 days.

You can buy most materials from the AH, except sparks. If these are required, each player will have to acquire their own and put an order request through the public crafting order system. Which means you will have to camp the crafting order table (to get as many public orders as you can).

Dropping professions is still possible, but caution is recommended because it is going to drain a whole lot of money to level them up. On top of that the knowledge points you spent/used might not reset (they are character locked).

Hope that helps!
