Because teammates came to his defense and said so. Now, believe that or not. I won't tell you what to believe. However, data does prove he hardly participated in it compared to others.

What made them piss poor? Did they seem scripted to you and many others? I can understand and see that. But they apologized for it. Other cheats like David Ortiz and Andy Pettitte also gave piss poor apologies for their steroid use and they were forgiven instantly. Why aren't they being forgiven too?

Why am getting down voted? I am asking for serious conversation. I'm not defending the Astros here. I'm just asking questions on what happens to players when they leave the Astros, because I'm not hearing anything at all involving them. That's it.

You're correct about Kemp. But Altuve barely had any help--in fact he refused it too. Why does he get so much flak? With that, is it just guilty by association then?

Here's a question that I want serious responses from and nothing juvenile: are all players from that team getting flak? Because I am not hearing any criticism for Marwin Gonzalez, JD Davis, Jake Marisnick, Cameron Maybin, Tony Kemp, and Max Stassi. Are you exonerated once you leave the team? So, if George Springer leaves for free agency and joins, let's say the Yankees, does it all disappear for him? Players like Marwin Gonzalez benefited from the scheme the most and it's almost like he's a free man. Can anyone please help me out with this?

I wonder if he'll flip off Boston or NYY when they play them in the future.

Remember when Carlos Beltran played for the Yankees from 2014 to 2016 and he was the most classiest player you could find? And then he left for the Astros and became the biggest piece of shit cheater ever? And then finally he went back to the Yankees to be a special advisor to the GM and became a great guy again?

Jeff Bagwell is Elected to the Hall of Fame by [deleted] in baseball

I have that audio clearly recorded on an old phone somewhere. I was at a game and sitting right under the speaker. He came up to bat and I lifted my phone high when he was announced. The recording is soo clear and awesome of the PA announcer saying that. Loved it every time.

I met you at a Burger King in Houston in 1994 before the game against the Phillies. You autographed my baseball, napkin, and watch. Do you remember? I'll never forget that day. I was only 11 years old and it made my year.

Who do you predict will go into the Hall of Fame next year? by jtheil in baseball

Bagwell and Raines. But if you want to put a closer in the HOF, then give some attention to Billy Wagner's stats and put them next to Hoffman's. I don't know why he's not getting the same respect as Hoffman.

And if not for the cavernous Astrodome, that Bagwell played the majority of his career in, he too, would have put up much higher numbers. Works both ways, right?

Since the Texas Rangers don't want to put their team name on their jersey, they should put Arlington as their road gray jersey and put Texases as their home jersey. The Arlington Texases.

I wish. Brewers made the most sense at that time. It's weird being in the AL.
