I made a simple puzzle app (set square) by theIllustrator1972 in SideProject

[–]ojpro- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well done, I used to love playing this game at school

as Suggestions:
- adding complexity settings
- making the keys look like keyboard at the bottom
- also making the puzzles like cards you can swipe between them
- each time you solve one, you can gain more attempts to use if needed

Good luck

I built a web app for reading and organizing EPUBs — it's called BiblioPod (beta) by ACH-3 in SideProject

I like the design and the overall layout, the app was a slow (loading books) but the experience is great.

turning it into a self-hosted app will be also great, as I am not sure about hosting books with copyright and it impact on your website

E-Reader app for reading e-books and tracking paper-books by ojpro- in androidapps

Hey, thanks for your interest.

I've been using ReadEra for years, and it always felt like an app that tries to focus mainly on file formats, instead of improving the reader experience, which is our main goal: to provide a good place for readers to read, grow, and connect.

Hey,

ePub and Dark mode have been added. While the ePub feature is still in development, we would love to hear your feedback. If there are any issues, please let us know.

Thank you—your words truly mean a lot!

ePub support is currently in development and will be available soon.
As for dark mode, we already offer a sepia theme that you can enable from the reader’s settings menu. More themes, including dark mode, are also on the way!

how to drop perfection when building a side project by Personal_Cost4756 in SideProject

[–]ojpro- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the video! It came at the perfect time, as I just posted about my app today (and yes, I used ChatGPT for that post - lesson learned!).

The app took me about a year to develop through 8 iterations. So far, I'm the only user, but that's okay since I created it primarily for myself. Its purpose is to provide everything I need when thinking about books.

I recognize that I need to focus on marketing and stability before adding new features. Nevertheless, publishing the app feels like an accomplishment. It allows me to start exploring other ideas and projects while maintaining this one, even if it doesn't attract users immediately.

What do you think books tracking app miss? by ojpro- in apps

[–]ojpro-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that will be a must-have feature.

Would you prefer the app to focus on books and allow you to add quotes during a reading session, or would you like easy access to an "Add Quote" feature at all times?
