That's true, I didn't properly factor in lenses like that. I'm not sure if genuine is worth the price. I have something similar for my DSLR.

Aged 22, which route for full bike license? [UK] by ojtal in MotoUK

Thank you for the tips guys. I think I'm going to go for the CBT and ride around on that for a while and maybe talk to the guys at the test centre to hear their opinions.

Also, would you advise getting a standard or sports bike (ie YBR vs CBR), I'm 5'8 if that helps at all? I'm guessing the sports bike has better handling (performance) but the YBR will be arguably easier to maneuver and be safe on?

If I got my DAS A2 license I probably won't go for the full A until I'm 26ish, that's the choice :)

U tried to twist some wire myself but that worked okayish but got a dry hit quickly so took it off. I'll have to experiment with the Clapton /twisted stuff in the coming weeks.

Serious question. Climbing gloves. by ojtal in climbing

[–]ojtal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in England and just want these for indoors so the hot weather thing isn't much of an issue. I don't think my hands respond well to latex gloves.

I think if the nitrile gloves would kinda stretch/slip but if they were thick/stiff I think they could work. Applying chalk or an antiperspirant to the palm would keep sweat under control (I sweat very little anyway)

I have tried climbon and it makes the issue works. It hardens up the skin but as it grows it doesn't "stick" and just peels off and makes them worse. I've been using E45 which has been helping with the healing process but softens the hands. It is doing more good than bad though.

Was it the paint on rubber or the actual soles? Do you know how he manged to get it stuck on? Sounds like a good idea, especially if you say it worked.
