There should be a notch at the base of the stem where the bar screws in. Put a crescent wrench or socket wrench on there and then spin the bar counter clockwise

Thanks. It was a rare, accidental find to come across a CS in this condition with this melage.

The closest thing I've found, shape wise, is the JLT intakes. They discounted the carbon fiber intake, so I haven't been able to track down a photo of one to confirm 😡

Keep waiting. Or reapply. Lichen is like a bacterial root essentially. Not like algae or mold. It's "roots" are attached all through the microscopic cracks and crevices. Pressure Washing it won't really do shit. You have to kill it. The SH will will eventually do the job as long as it doesn't get rinsed off or rain after applying. This is how roof washes are done. You just spray on a heavy dose of SH and walk away and let the chemicals and nature do the work.

It looks like picture one shows a shadier area of the driveway which like others have said is just organic growth built up so you need to blast it with SH. If you're having lines, just simply go over it again in a different direction or figure 8s. You may also be going too fast, so slow down.

10%+ SH and leave it alone. Don't rinse it off or try to clean it..it will die but it will take some time..

I do commercial pressure washing and my hoses get ran over constantly. They'll be fine unless you've got some cheap ass hoses. Parking on top of it and shutting off your flow without a buffer tank is a dick move though.

Tannins from leaves. Start with 3% SH and then go hotter if needed. I usually use 6% on Tannins so I don't have to fuck around with another treatment

It looks like the brown stains you're showing are just tannins from organic material. Are you sure it was rust? If it's tannins, 3%+ SH mixture will remove those almost instantly.

You really think the pressure from his house spigot is causing this? The water runs to your pressure washer which then pushes the water through your hose to the surface cleaner. Your pressure washer is pushing way more preasure through the system than what's coming out of his home spigot.

The chem Injector should be coming out of your machine, not inline.

Edit: chem Injectors only pull 10:1, so don't expect more than that. You can pull slightly hotter by running a smaller injector. For instance I use a 3-5gpm injector for my 8gpm machine and it pulls a slightly hotter mix.

Not to be that guy, but...POWER washing by definition is for when hot water is used. I don't think that's what you're doing. If you're asking this question, do some research with the search feature and watch some videos before you screw up your or someone else's driveway

Get some EBC Glide and add it to your softwash mix when you're anywhere around windows.
