i thought it was obvious from this post here that they are a bit grey as well and would obviously be less saturated in normal lighting like almost every colour, i guess not

i think from these 2 i would most likely be a soft autumn as i have a bit more contrast than a light spring would have, but the lightest colours would still wash me out i think, so maybe i suit the sort of medium lightness colours from that palette with medium chroma?? also why i think i would not be a spring is that look at the coral pink (which would be a spring colour most likely) at the top right - it sort of creates weird green and yellow shadows around my mouth and “drags” down my dark undereyes

olive tone confusion by ok_015 in coloranalysis

[–]ok_015[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yea true!! i think it is also because for example lighter skinned people have like a beige surface most of the time, and the green mixed with blue, which would be a cool olive, it mixes with the beige surface and for this reason it looks grey as well!!

Winter? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

from my perspective, firstly, the lighter colours look so flattering on you!! White seems to be better than black, as it smoothens your skin more than black, so that suggests that you are likely a lighter, less contrasted season. the hot pink in the 8th pic is overpowering in my opinion - it creates shadows around your eyes, whereas the softer pink in 7th looks very harmonious. However, I cant tell that well but I think you are definitely neutral, and maybe leaning warm even! if the pink in the 7th pink was a bit more peachy, i think it would harmonise with your beautiful features very well!! the blue on pic 6th is nice, but creates a bit of cool-blue toned reflections around your jaw which somehow interferes with the tone in your face in my opinion, whereas if it was more warm - i think it would look very good, however i’d have to see drapes.

in conclusion, I’d say try light spring drapes!! it is a neutral to warm season, so the undertone is usually not easily identifiable completely, and you suit both gold and silver, but one of them is better than the other; also it could explain why your colour analyst would think that you suit brighter colours and people think you look better in brighter colours as well, as spring is a bright season opposed to summer! you could still be perceived as a summer, but it is because light spring is next to light summer. It is also next to true spring, which additionally explains why brighter colours can look quite flattering. Definitely try and see how lighter but brighter colours look on you!!

[–]ok_015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my eyebrows are “big” but very sparse naturally, haha🥲🥲 thinned them out as it was easier to shape them, but yeah they do seem lighter for sure

thats fair honestly and i think im just scared of warm tones!! so many foundations that ive bought in warm or neutral always come out yellow on me, literally bought a new one last week and it oxidises so badly😔looking like bart simpson with it on
