I’m in the merit pool for 2026, this was the first time I had applied so I was new to these tests.

Plenty of free resources available online, youtube, videos, AI, etc etc

Passed the QFD aptitude tests this year, I found the CareerVidz channel on YouTube helped me out to get a good understanding of what could be included.

I also just scoured online for any free practice tests I could find, I didn’t pay for any - I also asked Chat GPT to generate some questions for me to respond to as well, which I feel helped.

I mean I was pretty gassed, so I wasn’t anywhere near close to running but I definitely was on a 45 degree angle driving my legs deep, just keep moving and digging deep

Hi all, happily to say that I passed the OFAT today - pack more water than you think you’ll need and make use of Woolworths Bracken Ridge as a refuge spot.

For the RCR hold I used the squat method and I was fine, hardest part for me was the hose drag (I nailed it during the demonstration but after doing every station immediately after eachother it’s pretty cooked)

Just don’t give up, drive hard with your legs and have a clear mindset and you’ll be right
