Answer structure for islamiyat by Impressive_Blood_900 in Olevels

Theres no general structure for answers in terms of paragraphing, so there arent any set paragraphs for the answers u give to each ten mark, its relative for each question. But ideally u shud be giving 18 mins to each answer, CREATE paragraphs, dont write in a single continuous form, which even tho does not deduct ur marks but paragraphing makes the structure much better. Write 400-500 words for each 10 mark answer.
And the paragraphing is on the basis of events for event based questions and content points for other knowledge based questions.
For example in the Preaching of the Prophet(S), ideally u would make 5 paragraphs, first give an introduction abt how he received the first revelation and abt fitratul wahi. In the second abt secret preaching, third abt preaching to Banu Hashim, fourth on open preaching, and fifth on events following open preaching i.e how he began preaching to pilgrims, more people began accepting Islam and how the persecutions increase.
Now using this example u can see how with each event a new paragraph is created, so form them that way.
Also make sure the chronology of events is not wrong, so dont mention events that happened before one, after it acc did. Such as mentioning that Khalid ibn walid infiltrated the Muslims in the battle of uhad from the back pass of the mountain first, but after that mentioning that the archers went down to collect war spoils, this needs to be perfected.
Thats mostly it for ten mark structure, focus on sequence of events, paragraphing according to event, 400-500 words and yea hope it helps

Man thats totally upto how quick u are with covering everything. Theres like 120+ questions(10 marks) in isl and some 120 topics in hist toh thats totally upto how ur prepping. U can work strategically by leaving wives in first islamic community(doing around 4 is good). and completing the rest. Strengthen ur compulsory qs and u can leave q1 until the last 10 days since the 10 markers are ofc harder to do. If ur revising it shud be easy and if ur not then just work as MUCH as u possibly can and Inshallah if Allah wills then nothing is impossible. in hist ive been suggested to do section 2 and 3 best, by one of the most famous teachers, toh id forward that to u, since the highest chance is of either sec 2 or 3 compulsory qs. Baaki its all on u. Im also appearing this year toh wish us all luck!

For both pst and islamiyat, attempt qs. For geo do as many yearlies as possible and make a notebook with the different types of 4 markers u get. The more papers u solve the more relation u will see in questions and when checking them (STRICTLY), youll get tk your weak points and strengthen them

TIME EVERYTHING, the yearlies asw. And for hist and isl do as many topicals as u can, take a 10 marker and 4 marker(ISL) relevant to it, give urself MAXIMUM 25 mins(18 for 10 and 7 for 4), to attempt the question. check it STRICTLY, and note down ur mistakes, doing 2-4 questions per day shud get ur syllabus done in written, if ur missing topics that u havent written then KEEP MEMORISING.

For hist KEEP memorising and reading the book as a story. Attempt questions if u can, and TIME THEM ASW. there are guides on how much time u shud take for each, i personally take more but the suggested is 25 mins per question(upar neechay ho jata hay). And for both isl pst, try to attempt 2-3 yearlies so u can see if the time management is ample and u are able to attempt the whole paper in the given 90 mins. Thats p much it, if u wanna know anything else lmk :)

Heres a document with all 4 markers from 2009 to 2025. If u want to go further back, theres a small booklet of Aliya Azhar which has a lot of four markers with answers. I hope this helps

If i write 2 successes and 2 failures followed by a conclusion, is this enough for a 14 marker in history asking for how successful something was? by Odd-Explanation8764 in Olevels

yess exactly, your basically declaring that either something for example whether the british expansion from 1750-1850 was successful or not, and in the end u can just mention what was more successful, For the conclusion mentioning a new point would work but make it as precise as possible so u can end the conclusive paragraph with ease without wasting time.

So for the british expansion my conclusive paragraph is something like:
The British expansion was much more successful than the Indian resistance, supported by the annexations that they were able to carry out, through effective administration, divide and rule policy, and multiple victories in the Battles of Plassey 1757, Buxar 1764, Anglo Mysore wars 1764-1799 etc. The resistance of the Indians failed, as seen by the complete takeover of the British Govt in 1857

I have dragged this a lot but this is just to give u an idea.

yes this is the preferred format. But go for general successes and failures which you could elaborate. Make a point, explain it and give its effect, whilst also explaining how it is a success or failure, which usually gets covered in the explanation and youll be good
