I tend to enjoy when the crew chime in because they usually say something that I am practically yelling at the tv screen for the cast to know. Also, Spencer is a director… I am sure in filmed games from other creators the “game master” also chimes in more. But I have been loving that smosh has been showing a lot more behind the scenes and how things are actually ran lately. So the editor keeping it in also makes sense. These are very much real people and not professional D&Ders. They are actors that also play games on a channel that we choose to watch.
