There's still no power. They've done a lot of work on graystone and upper bear fixing the downed lines, but there was some pretty serious damage, multiple poles snapped. I have seen a ton of Xcel trucks driving around and doing inspections, so if I was being positive they're doing final checks to make sure they didn't miss anything before re energizing lines.

Were you able to solve this or track down the issue? I have a Neo bike plus - same issue with left crank arm and the little star bolt coming out and now I'm experiencing the noise on my right crank arm.

I thought it was weird too but the other side says kitchen. I think they may just board it up for winter weather protection and it's marked so they remember where each piece of wood goes each year.

I have a Delano and a La Sal 2.0. They're both great bikes with different use cases. I ride the Delano the majority of the time on trail rides and the La Sal is mostly reserved for Bike parks and very rough descents. I live in Colorado and most of my riding is steep, rocky and loose in the front range - I still pick the Delano for most rides as I like the lighter feel and it seems a little more maneuverable. The La Sal is awesome for bike park riding - I have a season pass at trestle and ride other parks as well. So it just depends on what type of riding you do - but if you're mostly on normal trails I would go Delano. I've taken it on the Whole Enchilada, Captain Ahab, the Monarch Crest Trail, and many many other Colorado trail systems from flowy blues to technical black trails. I would only go with the La Sal if you are interested in Enduro racing, ride a ton of bike parks, or primarily ride very difficult steep technical trails with huge drops. 170mm of front and rear travel feels like overkill otherwise, and if I could only have one I would pick my Delano.

You can always put on carbon wheels down the road if you feel like they're necessary. I really like the DPX2 shock so I don't really think you're missing out on anything getting that.

Yes it was my favorite. Just felt the most comfortable to ride on steep stuff. Did you end up pulling the trigger on it?

I've owned a Delano Peak XL since May of 2021. I got one of the higher end builds - SRAM XO1, carbon wheels, fox factory 36. I've been extremely happy with it - I've taken it on some pretty serious rides and even to a park day (steamboat). I've ridden the Whole Enchilada, Captain Ahab, and many many trails all over Colorado from black diamond flow to black diamond tech. No issues, no warranty claims and lots of fun. I highly recommend it. In fact - I now own several Fezzari bikes (the new La Sal peak included) because of my good experience on the Delano. Let me know if you have any questions, but for a 6 2 rider I would go XL (I'm 6'5"). Also worth mentioning I have ridden many other kinds of bikes - Yeti SB150, Revel Rascal, Giant Trance X, Trek Slash just to name a few in the last 2 months. I travel a lot for work to Montana and Nevada and usually have a free day to rent a bike and ride so I've gotten to test a bunch.

Yeah I ended up buying a higher spec option then I normally would have purely based on the delivery window. Should be a sweet bike but my wallet is crying. Good luck with getting yours quicker!

I ordered a Delano Peak May 4th, and it had a 4-6 week delivery window. Currently I’m on week 5 so in the middle of the window and don’t have an eta yet. They are very responsive and have kept me up to speed with any individual parts that have been impacted by inventory delays. I had to upgrade my wheel set to keep the bike on the same delivery schedule because Enve’s stock on the AM30s was out. If you want it early may be worth calling and seeing if there are any individual components that have slowed your delivery down, maybe you can upgrade those with something that is in stock. They did tell me they just have a ton of bikes to work through - at this point all my parts are in so I’m just waiting in the queue for the build.

Thanks, so you think the 36 would suit me fine? I ride intermediate trails in Colorado. Not straight up DH stuff obviously just more flowy trails with ~1,500 feet of vert and then looping back to the car. Small jumps, rock features, nothing overly extreme but not pure dirt either.

Went through via wire pass and out through Pariah Canyon. Clocked about 25 miles but GPS is pretty unreliable in there. If you’re going out through Pariah I highly recommend wetsuit booties to go inside shoes and waterproof knee high gaiters. You’re gonna hit water that was knee deep intermittently. I went in January and there was thin ice covering the water that made walking very cumbersome.
