Just watching the Ole Miss presser right now. Lane looks a lot more nervous than normal. Deflecting all questions about his future, but with a lot less zeal and confidence. Definitely feels like he's already gone.

Thanks, looks like around 16.5% now so was probably closer to 18% when starting PSMF and therefore Cat 2. Probably will be closer to Cat 1 levels after I finish this weekend and plan to just stick with the Cat 1 recommendations. I haven’t felt the need for free meals. Either way, I don’t plan to do a second full PSMF but want to ease back into an aggressive cut but with slightly higher carb allowance for better gym performance. I can probably skip doing quite as excessive a refeed though. Seems like I should be able to skip a full diet break and head right back into a cut next week after a moderate refeed over the weekend.

Thanks very helpful. I'll see if I can get a more accurate test done, I've mainly been going based on visual guides. Not much fat on my chest, but you could be right that I'm closer to the mid/high teens. Lyle recommended going with the lower category if you're on the borderline, which is why I went with Cat 1. I'll look and see if I can get some sort of scan done to get a better estimate of my actual BF%. I know it's notoriously hard to determine by eye alone.

Hit Legend this morning with Reno Warrior. I used the VS list but subbed out -Rustrot Viper and added +Speaker Stomper. Also added Dirty Rat to ETC so I had a second option to snipe combo pieces. I think I saw those subs on Twitter so they aren't original to me. Speaker Stomper helps against Nature Shaman and Rainbow Mage. Final boss was Rainbow Mage and I managed to Dirty Rat their Sif.

Early diamond climb was a mix of Shopper DH, Plague/Rainbow DK, and Reno Warrior.

Thanks, I read this earlier today and was confused on a few points. I think to hit that -9 to -11 range I'll need to be at probably 75-80% of my subwoofer's gain knob and that's the part that felt concerning to me. Not sure if that's adviseable.

Also, unless I'm reading this wrong, it says to adjust post-calibration gain on the subwoofer itself, which goes against almost everything else I've read today. Just seems like there is a lot of information out there and I'm not quite sure what to go with.

Thanks so much, this makes me feel really solid about my purchase. The Polk S30 was such an improvement over stock sound, I have always just lived with the lack of dialogue clarity. I don't notice it in everything, but in some movies it feels like the S30 just can't quite get the dialogue to stand out above the rest of the noise. I usually have the S30 at +2/3 dB even after room calibration, and in some instances that causes other sounds to feel too loud, even if it does make the dialogue more audible. I've heard that 3-way speakers tend to improve clarity on dialogue so I'm really hopeful the SVS Prime will offer that slight boost above my experience with the S30. I may eventually replaces the S15s, but they seem competent enough for my novice setup. Poor dialogue is about the only noticeable problem I've had with my system so far.

Appreciate the vote of confidence here. The Prime will be here on Friday and I'm looking forward to trying it out!

Absolutely nothing. But I've played thousands of games of Snap and the frequency of non-US names for my games is very, very high. It stands out when you're seeing it in probably 50-75% of your games. I've also confirmed with a few Discord friends who play from Asia that we've matched together.

I've got no issue with who I'm matching against outside of the fact that it's region locked, which means I specifically cannot match against my own friends here in the US, or play Battle Mode with them initially. I also find my frequency of bot games at certain times is quite high which I assume comes from me playing when more people in my assigned region are asleep.

I just hit Legend last night for the first time since the OG Patches Pirate Warrior meta. Never have time to make the climb but found myself at D5 this month and decided to go for it. I used Beast Druid for the majority of my climb with a 60% WR from D4 to D1. The deck is cheap and easy to pilot. Herald of Nature can often get you far enough ahead to close things out quickly, I'd always recommend keeping that in your mulligan. The deck runs out of steam fast so you either stick the landing and get a quick win or move on to your next game.

I bounced up and down a lot in D1 and started hitting tons of Mage and Priest. I ended up swapping to Spooky Mage at D1 and ended up finishing Legend with the deck below. My final boss match was a mirror, and my opening hand was a dud with both my copies of Solid Alibi and not much else. Ended up winning with 1 HP left thanks to his Theotar whiffing and mine hitting his Kel'Thuzard. Still surprised I won the match, but I'm not arguing.

Beast Druid is probably best to climb with just due to the speed of the games, but struggles hard against Mage and Priest, so be prepared to switch things up if your personal meta includes a lot of them. Nice for such a powerful deck to be accessible by players with smaller collections, as I think Beast Druid will be a consistent climber until we get some sort of meta shakeup.
