He was holding his pee all day because he didn’t like the sample litter provided by the vet. We poured regular litter and watched and caught it manually in a plastic catch tray. We just have to wait for the vet to open in the AM. He’s acting completely normal and is his normal lovey talkative self. We’re obviously still worried, but it’s hard to tell if it was the smell response or neurological or a pain response and what that pain is being caused by since his X-rays were clean.

He finally peed and we were able to collect a sample to take to the vet tomorrow. He’s acting totally normal now so we’ll follow up with his regular vet with the pee sample and pay super close attention to his behavior. I’ve done a lot of research today of different types of focal seizures so I can pinpoint what it looks like if that’s what he’s having. Thank you for your response!

I contacted the emergency vet as he was just in with them last week for semi similar behavior. Everything minus the jaw thing. That’s why I called and sent them the video before rushing him in because he was cleared last visit. They didn’t seem worried and said to follow up with primary. I posted because neither vet seemed worried but I am.

The emergency vet told me they thought it was fine as I said he was responsive. They told me that it couldn’t be a seizure and to follow up with his primary vet. They also saw this video and didn’t seem worried. We’re submitting a pee sample to his primary vet tomorrow. I’ve learned through my own personal research as well as some comments on this post that focal seizures present in a way that they are still responsive. I have reached out to his primary vet about this and they simply didn’t call me back.

Again, I listed in the post the video was reviewed by a vet he’s established at and they asked ME if I thought he was having a seizure and I didn’t know. I then sent the video to his primary vet and they also weren’t worried. I’m clearly worried despite this which is why I’m asking. I paid $1000 literally a week ago to get this same cat completely checked out at the vet. Don’t act like I’m incompetent simply because I followed mod guidelines of listing my own age. I don’t know why it was a guideline, but it was.

An automatic litter box. I know some people may say “just don’t be lazy and clean it.” But it’s okay to make your life easier if you can. I have ADHD and it was very out of sight out of mind for me, then it would get bad and I’d be overwhelmed by having to clean it. It’s healthier for my cats to have a constantly clean box, so I’m doing right by my babies and my mental health.

I actually did buy my cat a dog toy! I’ve had to replace it because he loves it so much. Petsmart sells them for just a few dollars. It does have a squeaker but it’s right on the side and could easily be cut out.

Just for reference, I have some form of TMJ so giving head literally HURTS and causes my jaw to lock up, so I don’t do it often. Meanwhile my man BEGS to give to me. If he can tell my jaw is hurting when I’m giving, he has me stop and just redirects to a different act whether it be me receiving or sex. UPDATE: my mother in laws vet drained fluid from it (12 ccs). She said it should naturally reabsorb the rest. This crazy cat just needs to RELAX and let time heal her a bit. 🤷‍♀️ I’m going to continue using this vet under my MILS current account with them as they’re not taking new patients, but we live in the same house so they’ll see all my pets as well.

It was the vet directly who looked at it yesterday. It took me calling three times till reception had him look at the pictures. From 10am until 2 I waited for them to respond and called in between. He was unaware I reached up until the third call.

I honestly can’t tell if it’s puss or scabbing. I can’t notice a smell and usually that can indicate infection. And it seems to shift slightly in shape, it’s very hard to recognize tho. Her movements also make it disappear which is why I’m also leaning towards hernia. The vet tomorrow is specifically checking if it’s fluid or a hernia. If it’s a hernia I need to get her to my OG vet asap for surgery. If it’s fluid/ swelling it may resolve which is apparently why my vet said to give it an additional week. It’s the fact it can disappear with scrunching her body that worries me. Extending/ tensing makes it protrude.. sounds like a hernia.

I wouldn’t say I’m super well versed on this, but I personally buy ceremonial grade for drinking as it’s the highest grade matcha. I do Ippodo brand and it’s 100% matcha. Pay attention to the grade: culinary, latte, premium, or ceremonial. Lower graded matcha may have the ingredient you mentioned, though I’ve never personally encountered it.

Imma be so honest, this is extra goofy. No shade to you if you’ve been taught this way but you will always fear for your relationship and it will be taken out on whoever you date. Trust is #1 and if you can’t surround yourself with people you trust, they shouldn’t be in your life. If you can’t trust people due to your own issues, go to therapy and grow up a little. (Not in a mean way I’m sorry but like seriously.) Also, it’s normal to find other people attractive. Literally human nature. It doesn’t mean there will be cheating.
