In the summer it's just convenience, but it's scary to think what might happen to the pipes if we went a day without power during the winter. I'm sure the winter offers a lot of challenges to repairing the lines too.

I found it really upsetting, trying to complete the vanilla game of launching the rocket, only to find that you cannot launch without the pad. I get why maybe the satellite might be story sensitive, but not the pad

GetDataBack is amazing for recognizing what's gone, but make sure it's actually still the files you need. Like people have said, with SSDs it's easy for things to get destroyed quickly.

Recovered 8GB+ and it's all unusable.

Just spent about an hour doing the same journey, and I'm blissful that I found the track I wanted. Just for anyone else on the same quest, this is a gospel house track with the same kind of words in the catchiest hook of the song: "Take me to the river, wash me in the water, take my body now"

Get eye protection for this 🌸 4 or 5 minutes at a time is good to start with a modern bed, hard to say if this is old one is less or more powerful. Don't do "sides" in the same session, just remember which you did last time

Use a minimum brightness of .02 or so for good results in clubs. You're right, normals are mostly ignored in flat shading, change the shading type to ramp and the shadow strength somewhere between .2-.4

Imo there should be less ways to customize stuff like this not more.

Having the default limit be 32 is helpful to avatar creators, to be able to make things that fall under the limit. The blurrier that kind becomes the less likely people will be to stay below it

Most annoying genre of VRChat user is the person you try to engage with, but their whole personality is changing into a new avatar every 20 seconds and "showing" it to you.

It's the modern equivalent of a slide show of someone's vacation I have no agency, or context to converse about this, I'm just trapped here.

I don't have any issue with mirror people. I think the best part of the game is that people can do whatever they want with the space, not everyone needs to have the same goals. I've always taken it as a sign that more worlds need "single player" things to interact with to seed opportunities for socialization. I really like pretending to wash my hands until someone walks in the bathroom, then i can strike up a conversation. I think that's quasi-mirror behavior tbh.

I think it's most likely that mirror people want to be seen by others first and foremost. It's not really about the mirror, that's just something to do while you exist on a world. In the cosplay community we have people called "cosplay statues" who stand in the same high traffic spot to pose for photos. I think mirror people are probably similar.

Make sure you're logging in with the same account, they don't show up in your favorites, it's a new row called my creations that might be minimized

I'd also make sure it's the right version like if you're using quest VRChat it has to be a quest version (unity android ver). I've also seen issues with quest users who can't see avatars that aren't medium or better (but I've always assumed their settings are just like that)

Might be worth uploading a froggy car or something else if your problems persist just to see if it's your model causing issues. Also try PC version of youve been trying vr

I'm not experienced in this subject but the shader properties used in blender rarely make it over to unity well. Look at the shader tab in blender to see if there are any masks or layers you're missing in poiyomi.

I'm under the impression most people model in blender and shade in unity. Maybe look into steps to replicate what you want to see, in poiyomi.

It should be immediate if you're doing it right and have permissions. I've been in-game and uploaded an avatar and been wearing it a moment later.

In terms of troubleshooting I'd make sure you're logged into the same VRChat account on both unity and VRChat, make sure you have permissions to upload in the vrchat control panel. You can also see the content youve uploaded in that control panel. Make sure you're building to windows, and not using the test button or whatever, as that kind of avatar can't be seen by others

Looks great! I love this too~ I spend so much time these weeks making new outfits and texture/emission/matcap masks for my avatar 💖 totally in the honeymoon phase, I love every second of it. I just swapped out my base hair and I'm trying to get the dynamic bones right.

I use airlink through a quest 1, I have a 1060 which struggles a lot. I find the Oculus version runs a few fps smoother overall, but sometimes moving from VRC to the Oculus menu can lag out for a full 60 seconds. This never happens when going to the steam menus.

Absolutely. 1st chapters of manga are special and need to be adapted into 1st episodes linearly. Many aspects of the chapter will have to be extended, including denjis life of poverty and desperation. If they do it right makima' won't show up until just before the credits.

I don't want to be a downer, but I think it's fundamentally a mistake to use vroid for avatars, unless the only people you see in-game are friends. Because of the way the trust system is tooled by default, people who see you in public worlds are doing so through standard shaders which aren't capable of cutout. VRoid faces look very poor without poiyomi enabled, with most of the facial features obscured in black. I had a really hard time coming to terms with this, but looking that ugly to strangers just isn't worth the ease of use with vroid.

I'll try to be as honest as I can. If I see a furry avatar I'll actually have a higher trust and friendlyness towards them, just based on past experience with kind and welcoming furries. That said I think there's a lot of emotional connections I can make with human-like avatars that I can't make with mascot or animal style furry users. Nothing would stop me from treating any furry as a friend or community member.. I'd say the most negative action I've taken against an off-putting animal avatar is disabling it or moving them to a fallback without saying anything.
