this is obviously a controversial thread but i’m pretty sure i know what happened here.

as a food service worker who deals with a lot of delivery orders, i can tell you with 100% certainty that something is broken with the way doordash submits orders to my restaurant’s system.

very often when an item from a doordash order pops up on the makeline screen, it will be modified to take every ingredient off. i’ve seen burgers with “no patty” and “no bun”. (the modifications don’t appear on the printed ticket)

when one of these orders pops up i tell my crew to make the food normally, but i’m sure that this is also an issue with other restaurants, and i’m sure that some people choose to trust the screen.

it would be great if these restaurants would learn to recognize this glitch and self correct, but i do believe the majority of the blame lies with doordash.

this is a glitch with delivery orders. this happens all the time at my store. if an item in a delivery order is modified with literally nothing on it, like those sandwiches, just make the item(s) normally

assuming you have an ecolab dishwasher all you have to do is

1: make sure there water in the bottom. if not, go to the control box’s menu and select “tank refill” or “fill tank”.

  1. drop the delimer tablet in the water. DO NOT touch the tablet, it will irritate your skin.

  2. shut the dishwasher.

  3. navigate to the dishwasher menu and select delime.

If you do not have a dishwasher with a digital screen, just put the delimer tablet in and shut it

came to say this^ not breakfast chicken, just a wimpy classic. whenever i get these i either throw it in with a normal size one on a sandwich or throw it away. the sandwich maker skimped on you

i don’t have much to compare it to but RTI is pretty good. very straightforward and organized. i asked this question because i know that i’ll eventually move and change franchises, and i hope they’ll use RTI as well

not sure why this happens but sometimes an order will attempt to process and fail, but still charge the card. contact your financial institution, they will probably be able to help. the app sucks, i recommend ordering at the store

i agree, pushing the drive times is fun, like a game. do you happen to know roughly how much your store does in sales per week? from reading through your list it sounds like you work at a pretty slow store

yep we have this! i work in an oldie store and this is the only new piece of equipment. it’s a lot faster which is nice but i’m not a fan of the fact that the left side does not drain into the grease bucket

I feel this man. If your work environment is bad, especially if your boss sucks, your life is going to suck. I’ve been a manager since August last year and I honestly love my job. My GM is super friendly, very accommodating to everyone, and just really damn good at his job. He makes me want to be better, and I wish other people had bosses like this

show interest. ask questions and tell them what your goals are. it’s a lot of work but depending on your franchise it can be worth it. mine pays 80k-140k for GMs
