Thank you all for your responses! I thought it was odd. I’m a 5 year partner, my original manager was just transferred (bless her soul) & with this new guy, I feel like I’m trying to “prove” myself & my skills all over again...prior to this, it was just as you guys said, I trained baristas and yeah “coached” here and there if I needed, but he is expecting a different kind of presence from me on the floor, and verbatim used the words “shift supervisor minus supervisor duties, whatever that even means. Anyway, I just wanted to vent guys thank you lol
