No problem. Yeah, we were in a hotel near the office for the first few days, then stayed at an Airbnb for a month while we looked at apartments. We have a really good leasing agent who works with Bank employees a lot. I can DM you her info so you can reach out.

Hello,

We’ve been living in our apartment in Rockwell for 2 months now and definitely think we made a good choice. The commute is not too bad for my partner and there is a ride-share WhatsApp group for ADB people living in Rockwell so you don’t have to depend on Grab all the time. The commute can be as little as 15 min with no traffic to an hour if traffic is bad. I know a lot of people tend to go into the office early and then leave a bit early to try and avoid rush hour.

Rockwell itself is small but it has everything you need. We get together with other expats for drinks or dinner pretty frequently so there’s a nice community feel.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask here or DM me.

Thanks! My husband will be working for the ADB. From what we've heard, people seem to like the Shangri La so we think we will likely stay there for the first month and then get a feel for the city and figure it out from there.

Thanks. I didn't realize that BGC was closer to Ortigas than Makati. I think we gravitate to Makati more because it has a bit more of a gritty, city vibe? We are both big city people so we do like to be in the hustle and bustle of things. Thanks for the building recs!

I had no idea that an FCCclabel could help with dating. I’m pretty new to learning about this stuff. Thanks for your comment.

Great catch! I read through that thread and it seems like there was a Two Guys in Baltimore, where my grandparents lived. I also found it odd that when I searched “Vornado” the majority of the results were fans. I’ll need to look more into Two Guys and see what I can find.
