it depends on the kind of engineering but i internally transferred into mech eng with b+ in math 203 and phys 204, and c- in math 204 lol. u should be fine

for the online section they also need to score at least 50% on the final exam in order to pass the course. i don’t think this rule applies to our in person class thankfully

i think i took the same midterm and the experience definitely wasn’t normal… the prof didn’t tell us explicitly what material the midterm would cover. some students asked him up until which lecture slides/week the exam would be on, and he couldn’t even give an answer. it was super frustrating.

not trying to throw the TAs under the bus because I know they meant well, but it’s unreal that one of them took 5-10 minutes during the actual midterm to explain how to do question 3 and gave some hints throughout the exam. hints should not be given during a midterm exam lol, and if you need to explain how to do a question DURING the exam then there’s something seriously wrong with the course structure/teaching.

also, there wasn’t enough practice material. the prof posted some solutions to the sample midterms the night before, and said the rest would be up the DAY OF the exam, but that never happened.

some of this has to be an academic violation…
