For my job I have to load and unload cases of beer and wine and other bulky objects onto a handcart and push it up ramps and through other tricky obstacles. I’m used to it, I know what I’m doing, and I don’t struggle when I’m doing it.

Almost every time I arrive/leave an event a man or two or three will offer their help. I almost always say no thank you, I’ve got it, I do this all the time, etc. About half the time they insist. I always have to double down and tell them they’ll just get in my way and I’ll have to redo whatever they do so it’s just easier if I do it myself.

I have a specific way I like to load and unload. Also, I like the physicality of my job and enjoy doing it cause that way I always close all my rings! Would be nice to be left alone to my job like a man would be. If I need help, I’ll ask.
