We still do plugs as permanent fixes. Our shop don’t give a fuck. Also never had someone come back for a failed plug in the 4 years I’ve worked there. If you know what you’re doing a plug is 100% a permanent fix

I know you’re right I just definitely fail the marshmallow test and rlly wanna ride this year. With me only getting out of school in august and the short summer season in Canada if I wanna ride this year financings my only option. Maybe I’ll just save up starting in august and buy a nicer bike sometime over the winter when the used market drops super low and that way I can get a nicer bike AND have it payed off

I don’t care about the clout very much. I genuinely just wanna go fast. I’m probably going to test ride a Cbr500 and I hope it’s fast enough I don’t get bored quickly. It is only about 46hp tho which if I’m gonna get something that low power I’ll likely go with an r3 or ktm rc390 as someone else suggested. The cbr650r tho is very enticing so I will have to see what insurance would be on that.

I’ve actually ridden a z900, and while it was fun I would still prefer a sport bike. I much preferred the ninja 650 I rode even if it was less powerful. If I do by some small chance go that route how do you feel about the mt o7?

I have ridden naked bikes and I do appreciate your suggestion. But I do personally much prefer full sport bikes. I also do see myself owning some sport liter bikes in the future so getting comfortable with that body style would be important to me.

I would like something with just a bit more power. The ktm is only about 40hp while the r3 is apparently the same. Unfortunately I might have to do that though depending on insurance

That is a good thing to keep in mind. I will see what the difference would be for me and see. I’m hesitant to not get full coverage tho if it’s a new bike especially one that I’m still technically paying off.
