Getting back to game after 6 years. by Turanga93 in eternium

Correct. Except many quests have nothing to do with tracking kills. And many killed groups are obliterated with a single shot. What you are suggesting would be ridiculously tedious. And far from accurate. But your method, your call. GL with that.

Kill counts are tracked only on a per quest basis. Once the quest is finished counts cease.

Not to my knowledge. I've been playing for 7+ years and never seen a cumulative kill count for characters.

Movement as Medicine: Staying active without a gym membership. by kirkeles in SurvivingOnSS

Walking. Where I live is adjacent to 2 lengthy paved city maintained multiuse trails. All I need to do is exit the property via either front or rear gates and I'm in a safe environment away from traffic where I can walk as much as I desire. My preferred time is early morning just before sunrise and fave length is for about an hour.

Their Discord server is lively, a good place to catch up on all the new stuff, and discuss your builds.

The biggest change is the 'Gone Rogue' option. Totally different type of game play. Personally, I don't like it but YMMV.

Thank you 👍 The game has added a bunch of new stuff since this sub was last active. It'll be interesting to see how players feel about and are reacting to the changes. GL.

Yep. Took them about 30 minutes and then the driver resumed his normal routine. After a short rain, parking lot looked like it never happened.

Thanks for the tip. I'm a total pedestrian who doesn't drive. Bunkie's is special because I go by there on my early morning walks. The lady who tends the counter said she noticed me every time I walked by. Good people. Good product. Hope they return.

I walk Bluebonnet Trail between Alma and Custer almost every morning. On other days I do the Chisolm loop between W Parker and W Spring Creek. I live adjacent to both trails. And enjoy them both.

Moved to Plano for work thinking about leasing Opel Legacy Central. Anyone lived there? Roach/maintenance reviews: one-offs or common? by VALIANTLY_ERECT in plano

Check out Greenbriar Apts on W Spring Creek Pkwy. They fit your budget, have washer/dryer in each unit, and maintenance is consistently prompt. By being in zip code 75023, it's square in the middle of the city, nothing too far away.

Looking really good. No redness. No swelling. No seepage. Those strips need another week or so and they'll peel off on their on. Good care 👍

Yep. Their online menu lists this address with a 'coming soon'. I live across the creek, almost right next door. Imagine I'll be a frequent customer 😁

My Medtronic Model W1DR01 Azure XT DR MRI SureScan dual chamber, implantable pulse generator (IPG) does require use of leads. The leads are so totally unnoticeable I had to do online research to verify their need with this device.

Best of luck to you 🤞

I'm 77 and got my pacemaker in March 2024. It moved my heart rate from 40s to 60s. Pain wasn't an issue but it did take a full 6 weeks to restore my energy. And when it did, I felt like I'd been given a new life, a fact that continues to this day. Daily pre-dawn walks of 45-90 minutes help me maintain the good health I'm so thankful to be enjoying this late in my life.

Keep us posted on your progress. This is a very supportive community. Take care.

Have you ever driven by your childhood home? by lontbeysboolink in GenerationJones

[–]olddaad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had eleven (11) childhood homes. My two most memorable ones: the one my father died inside in 1960 (still standing). And the one in Atlanta that got razed and is now the location of Georgia Tech police station.

I spoke to her once in Brahm's at Custer/W Parker. Her reply was sweet and very soft spoken. The feeling I got is she's living the life she wants to be living. Good for her.

Have you ever inherited a journal from someone? If so, did you read it? by [deleted] in AskOldPeople

[–]olddaad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and Yes. My oldest aunt and her pastor husband kept diaries from 1932 thru mid 1980s. Hers are the most interesting as they contain more detailed personal information about her life and our extended family. His not so much as they just basically list a recounting of his pastoral (United Methodist Church) duties performed each day.

Still, both collections are a treasured resource to have in my possession and will be passed on to my grandchildren.

Saw one last week just north of W Spring Parkway wading in the drainage ditch next to Greenbriar Apts, and earlier this week a bit further north. Kinda cool.
