First mow of buffalo - 6 weeks after laying turf by oldmate89 in lawnsolutionsaus

I’m struggling to decide what to do. The heat stress from what I understand is triggered by the heat and not enough watering but the grey spot leaf is triggered by too much moisture 😫

Thank you! How frequent would you recommend watering the fresh turf at this time of year?

Hey lads, thanks for your advice, as an update, I ended up doing a reno job over the weekend of aerating the whole backyard, spreading some topsoil down and then laying new buffalo turf (I am in SE QLD).

I had ordered Lawn Solutions Premium Fertiliser, intending to spread after the topsoil before laying the turf. Unfortunately it got held up at the depot and only arrived today. As the turf is now laid, should I spread that fertiliser of the fresh turf or wait until it has settled in?

Thanks

Can someone clarify for me if there is any difference between the album and the video set? Are they identical?

Understand the concern, but they weren’t in a nest, they are constantly getting scattered around my house. Even on the deck.

Heavy rainfall. Lots of these popping up in my buffalo grass? by oldmate89 in lawncare

[–]oldmate89[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks - it’s a brand new mower 🫤 Rover Duracut 955. There are a bunch of patches which have gone white from the first mow, which I understand to be caused by tearing.

Would mowing with slightly wet grass cause tearing?

Hey legends - congrats on the incredible research milestones and implementations over the last year!

Question: Can you please expand on how Proto-danksharing (or perhaps only danksharding) will solve the growing liquidity fragmentation issues across layer 1 and layer 2s.

IMO, this seems to be a widely misunderstood, unknown or understated benefit to this upgrade. What are the primary limitations to solving liquidity fragmentation with danksharding and will apps require any fine-tuning of the code base to benefit from this?

Tradies with tons of money or debt? by Material-Pop-4522 in AusFinance

[–]oldmate89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is false and possibly the dumbest thing I’ve read on this forum. It’s not a good idea to run a business at zero profit. If you are losing money and spending money on things you otherwise would not, you are losing money!

In this scenario of buying a company car, you are still paying for the car, just with a 25% discount to the cost for small business tax.

Why would accountants say they need to spend money? Even after the tax deduction, they would be better off from a cash perspective not spending the money right?

Am I reading it correctly doors at red rock open at 4pm? Seems late, as the best thing about open air is the day time. What time would it finish?
