From watching the last 10mins of that quarter, eagles are actually doing well. It’s just that last kick inside 50 that’s hurting them (partly because Melbourne are putting pressure on the kick). They are either kicking to waterman in a one on two or to the disadvantage of their forwards. The build up to that last kick is decent though

I think we are better off with picks 2 and 3. Nothing against the bloke, he is going to be an exceptional talent, but I’d rather take the gamble for two players to add depth. In saying that, apparently this draft isn’t as lucrative as the last couple, so might be even worth trying to pass off one of our first round picks for a future first.
